RETAILERS RE-STRATEGIZE AS RECESSION BEGINS TO FADE OUT
Monday, April 26th, 2010As the world revives from the recession, it is the Gen X and Gen Y who will be the ones that shape the recovery, while the Baby Boomers will stick to their money-saving behaviour even after the economy improves, unveils a survey by TNS Retail Forward. According to the survey, 36% of affluent Boomers will plan to continue shopping less often, compared to 29% of affluent Gen Xers. Taking clue from the finding, many retailers are targeting this segment for growth.
